Tui

 The tui

Tui is medium-sized, common, and widespread birds of the forest They look black from a distance, but in good light, tui has a blue, green, and bronze color to them and white throat tufts. They are usually very beautiful, with a mix of tuneful notes interspersed with coughs, grunts, and wheezes. In-flight, their bodies slant with the head higher than the tail, and their noisy whirring flight is interspersed with short glides.

The tui also has a good habit of singing in its surroundings. But they only sing when they have landed in a tree or on the ground.

Under the Mountain- Novel Study

For novel study we had to read the book Under the Mountain. Then through the four tasks we had to explain the book and how we did it so Miss Farr actually knew that we read it. At the start I didn't like this book as all I have been reading is my bible and this was very different. At the end I felt good that I was done and proud that I managed to finish it.

Sportsmanship

 Sportsmanship

Having good sportsmanship is Not swearing, a good attitude, not rolling your eyes at the reff, helping, listening, being a good loser, being a good winner, respecting people, their beliefs, and how they play. There is a lot more that I could say but I’m not. here is some more information

Parents and kids alike love sports, and it's easy to get caught up in a game and become focused on winning. Yet there is much more to be gained from the sports experience than a winning record. When children and teens are involved in sports, they are able to learn and put into practice values that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.

Many athletes and coaches have said the phrase “they showed good sportsmanship” at least once in their lives. But, what exactly does that mean? Is it simply being good at handling defeat? Or does it refer to a more general attitude towards your players, or team, or coach and or opposing team? Parents often want to teach good sportsmanship to their kids as a means to develop positive emotional and social skills so learning more about this topic is vital.
