Duck shooting is a season that comes around once a year on the first Saturday of May. It is called opening day and that's when all the hunters go out to shoot ducks or geese.

The ducks fly around a lot more on opening day because when a hunter shoots at a duck and misses the duck will fly away to find another pond, and then the duck will get shot at again and again and again. Hunters build mymys so the ducks carnt see them and they can hide in them until ducks come along and try to land in the pond that's when they have their chance with the shotgun.

A shotgun is a short-ranged gun that can be either a pump-action semi-automatic or double barrel. It has about a couple hundred pallets in the shell and so when you shoot a bird in the air you have more chance of Hitting and killing

 it. 

Duck species that are usually Target are Mallard ducks Paradise ducks and occasionally you might get a goose. Mallard ducks have extremely good eyesight that's why the Hunters hide in the mymys.
